When we enter this world, we are given the most precious gifts. The first and most unique of all is life itself. To be allowed to live here on this earth, to find joy in everything she offers us – that is truly wonderful, and it fills me with deep gratitude.
It is remarkable and beautiful how everything fits together, how everything complements everything else – all for the good of humanity. But along with this gift, we have also taken on a responsibility: the responsibility to live in harmony with nature. Each of us in our own way.
And yet there is another important task that comes with being born into this world:
“Learning to live with our emotions.”
We are, by nature, social beings. We need the closeness of other people – and yet it is often so difficult to truly understand them. Even more difficult is understanding ourselves.

The 38 Bach Flowers and the 38 Planetary Constellations according to Peter-Johannes Hensel
Just as Dr. Edward Bach – after years of dedicated research – selected 38 plants to become the Bach Flowers, so too did the astrologer Peter-Johannes Hensel, after equally dedicated years of research, document 38 planetary constellations as the guiding framework of his APL teachings.
Each of the 38 planetary constellations finds its healing companion in one of the 38 Bach Flowers. This discovery by both of these remarkable men fills me with deep reverence and gratitude – for it reveals how everything is part of one great whole, woven together with power, foresight and love.
Astromedicine has its roots in the late Babylonian Empire (6th to 1st century BC). During the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, it found its way to Europe and was practised by great scholars such as Paracelsus. This is documented in detail by Marvin Franziskus Schreiber M.A. in his dissertation at the Faculty of Philosophy of the Humboldt University of Berlin.
In his AstroPolarity courses, the astrologer Peter-Johannes Hensel teaches, among many other things, the profound connection between the 38 Bach Flowers and the 38 planetary constellations.
